Electric Vehicle Simulation & Building Internship is an opportunity for you to gain the domain skills which matter on your resume for your career in Electric Vehicle domains. Each training module is created in collaboration with industry panel, for the skills sets needed to an entry-level engineer (freshers) to begin a career in EV domain.

 

By the end of this internship, you will have a detailed understanding of the EV systems, engineering, standards, design & manufacturing a type approval vehicle than just DIY things & you will pain the potential network with industry partners for your career.

 

This internship is limited to 30 students / fresh undergrads only and will be held in Competences Factory Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru.

 

 

Your learning activities at the internship

 

  • Simulation for battery & motor sizing
  • EV subsystems in depth (hands-on)
  • Traction battery & motor characterization
  • Motor Controller, BMS, Charger selection & configuration
  • Foundation to ISO 26262 (functional safety), ASIL and AIS123 (EV/HEV retro fitment)
  • Build 2 to 4 electric bikes to achieve 75 km/charge range adherence to type approval

Introduction to the Model-based approach

  • Sci lab options and GUI introduction
  • Use of Sci notes and Xcos
  • Create a simple numerical model for spring & damper
  • Assessments for a detailed understanding of numerical simulation

 

Begin to build an EV sub-system numerical model

  • Hands-on session to understand the construction of 250 W to 5 KW traction motor
